This book invites readers to understand that the power of the Holy Spirit is not given to build a personal stage, but to build up the body of Christ and to serve the world. The gifts of the Spirit are not merely awe-inspiring spiritual phenomena, but means of grace that must be exercised with love, order, humility, and responsibility.

Written in clear language and firmly grounded in Scripture, the book helps readers understand, test, and practice the gifts of the Spirit in a healthy way. The discussion then connects these gifts concretely with evangelism, social ministry, leadership, spiritual warfare, and the formation of a church that makes an impact on society.

The book also affirms that integrity is the vessel for power. Gifts without character can wound, whereas power guided by love, holiness, and truth will set the world ablaze with a living witness. Readers are therefore invited not only to receive power, but also to be shaped into people who can be trusted in ministry.

It is ideally suited to those who serve the Lord, church leaders, mentors, evangelists, ministry workers, prayer teams, mission communities, ministry training schools, and congregations who wish to grow in the gifts of the Spirit in a safe, healthy, and responsible manner.
